Healthcare marketing in Northwest Arkansas
mhp.si Health serves hospitals, physician groups and dental organizations across Northwest Arkansas from our Bentonville office. We handle brand, creative, media, search, public relations and measurement for organizations competing in one of the fastest-changing healthcare markets in the country.
We work with healthcare organizations across the US.
What is happening in this market
Northwest Arkansas healthcare ownership has shifted substantially in the past few years. Freeman Health System completed its acquisition of Northwest Health on June 1, 2026. The completed network includes four hospitals, associated outpatient centers and physician practices, and a workforce of approximately 2,200 dedicated employees. Community Health Systems completed the sale of those four Arkansas hospitals and associated sites to Freeman.
Washington Regional assumed operations of the 20-bed Physicians’ Specialty Hospital in Fayetteville on December 1, 2025. The current facility identity is Washington Regional Physicians’ Specialty Hospital. Arkansas Children’s Northwest in Springdale is expanding with a four-story addition and is planned to reach 40 inpatient beds.
These transactions change the practical question every independent practice in this region is now asking: when the ownership or operations of the organizations around you changes, what happens to referrals, the recruiting pool and the competitive set you built your practice around?
Who we serve here
Independent specialty practices are the core of our Northwest Arkansas work: orthopedics, dermatology, ophthalmology and urology among them. The through-line is local ownership. When marketing decisions are made in the building rather than in another state, the work moves faster and the results are visible to the people making the call.
We also serve dental and multi-location groups across the region, and health organizations that need brand, communications or crisis capability with local presence behind it.
Local proof

Rock Dental Brands
Rock Dental Brands operates across Arkansas, including Northwest Arkansas. Our work for Rock Dental runs market by market rather than statewide, with accountability measured in booked appointments, case starts, revenue and marketing acquisition cost by market. The $9 million increase in annual revenue and 11% year-over-year gain are Rock Dental group-wide outcomes across more than 100 locations in five states, not Bentonville-only results.
Market by market is not a slogan for us. It is how the Rock Dental engagement is actually built, because Bentonville does not behave like Fayetteville and neither behaves like Fort Smith.
Our presence
We opened in Northwest Arkansas in 2020, in Rogers, and moved to our current Bentonville office in 2023. That gives us a presence in this market as part of a firm headquartered in Little Rock since 1972.
Northwest Arkansas is a market we work in, not one we service remotely from somewhere else.
Firmwide, that gives a Northwest Arkansas client access to more than 60 teammates, clients across the US, Google Premier Partner status with more than 100 certifications in data and digital media, an APR-led public relations team and our analytics practice.
Questions we get
Do you work outside Northwest Arkansas?
Yes. We work with healthcare organizations across the US: Hoag Health in Newport Beach, California, the University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore, and TruHealth Now in the Washington, DC area. The Bentonville office is where our Northwest Arkansas clients sit, not a limit on where we work.
We are an independent practice competing against a system. Is that winnable?
On brand spend, no. On local search and specific procedures, frequently yes. A system markets a service line across a metro. A practice can own a procedure in a set of ZIP codes, which is a different and much cheaper fight.
Do you work with the hospitals here?
We work with healthcare organizations across Arkansas and have for more than fifty years. We will tell you directly, before any engagement begins, whether we have a relationship that could conflict with yours.
What does a first engagement look like?
Usually one solvable problem: a Visibility Assessment, a single service line or a Capacity and Demand Audit that shows where your schedule is going unused and what that gap is worth per month.
